European Tour golfer gets lucky bounce off the grandstand on to the green: video
Here is a lucky bounce us amateur golfers will never get, a ricochet off the grandstand.
Last week we saw Martin Kaymer deliberately trying to play a golf shot off the bleachers, but this time we’re not so sure of the intent.
South African Dean Burmester was playing his first round of the European Tour’s Volvo China Open when he pulled his approach to the 18th a little too close to the grandstand. The resulting ricochet finished up pretty well, albeit a long way from the DJ.
Way left, off the grandstand & onto the green 👀
