Watch this golfer accidentally hit two golf balls during NZ Open
Australian golfer Shae Wools-Cobb got the shock of his life after he hit not one but two golf balls with one stroke during the final round of the New Zealand Open on the weekend.
Faced with a deep lie at the par-4 9th hole of the composite course at Millbrook Resort, Wools-Cobb’s recovery shot struck two golf balls – his own flew towards the green, the other finished a few meters in front of him.
As you can hear in the video below, Wools-cobb suggests there must have been another golf ball directly below his own.
There is no penalty for accidentally deflecting another players golf ball, but this was a strange incident nonetheless.
