Adam Sandler celebrates 25 years of Happy Gilmore with THAT golf swing
It’s been 25 years since the release of Happy Gilmore, the crazy golf hockey movie starring Adam Sandler, Julia Bowen, Christopher McDonald and Carl Weathers.
Lee Trevino also made a cameo in it! Although he later said he wished he hadn’t.
Co-written by Sandler the movie was largely panned by critics but did well at the box office and remains a favourite “golf” movie by many.
Sandler took to Twitter today to share a video celebrating the anniversary of the film’s release by hitting one of Gilmore’s signature drives. A shot that has been replicated by golfers (including Jordan Spieth) all over the world.
