Ian Baker-Finch destroys a bunker in this Snickers TV commercial from the 1980s 1990s.

A long time ago now Australia’s best golfers used to appear in Australian television (that’s what TV stands for) commercials. We’ve shared a few featuring Greg Norman here before, but here is one featuring the great Ian Baker-Finch.

I can’t help but feel like these roles should have been reversed.

IBF was great out of the sand, I dunno why he agreed to this! 🙂 (Also curious to know where this was shot.)

UPDATE: We’re told (indirectly via Ian himself) that this was shot in 1997 at Gainsborough Greens.
