Tiger Woods recovering from a fifth back operation
Tiger Woods won’t be seen on the golf course for a while he recovers from a fifth back surgery.
Announced via his Twitter feed earlier today, Tiger Woods has undergone surgery to relieve nerve pain due to “a pressurized disc fragment”.
This makes it five back operations for the 15-time major champion and it will rule him out of the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in two weeks, and most likely most tournaments for February and early March.
The Masters is scheduled for April 8-11, 2021.
