Steve Johnson smacks down Brendan Goddard with a wedge on Instagram: video

The rivalry between two AFL players isn’t limited to the footy field.

Geelong Cats’ mercurial Steve Johnson has posted a great golfing Instagram when he showed off his chipping skills at the expense of a miniature Brendan Goddard.

Goddard is himself a keen, and very handy golfer is obviously heading off to the US at the end of the AFL season with Johnson on a golf trip – something they also did at the end of last season.

The opening shot is a close up of what appears to be a miniature doll style version of Goddard before the camera pans back and Johnson nails him off the table and into the bin. It’s superbly done.

Stevie J is having a pretty good time of it as far as golf is concerned right now. He followed that post up with this one showing the moment he scooped his ball out of the hole after making an albatross on the par-5 6th hole at Metropolitan Golf Club today.

Happiest 10 seconds of my golfing life!!! Albatross on the par 5 6th hole at Metropolitan Golf Club! @taylormadegolf
