Ryan Ruffels joins Rick Shiels for a round at Isleworth
Australian golfer Ryan Ruffels has played alongside Rick Sheils in his latest #Break75 episode.
Sheils does his best to break 75 from the tips at the formidable Isleworth Golf & Country club in Florida while Ruffels aims to break 70.
It’s good fun and a great way to see this epic golf course, the home course for many tour golfers including Tiger Woods, Danny Willett and Bubba Watson. And the houses around the estate match the golf course, Shaquille O’Neal recently sold his house there for over $16 million.
And that second hole – epic or stupid?
Shit just before Ruffels flew home and posted a top-25 at last month’s Vic Open, he will spend 2023 playing on both the DP World and Challenge Tour in Europe.
An incredible talent and once one of Australia’s most promising young golfers, it’d be great to see Ruffels back contending in big tournaments again.
