Steele and Rippers win LIV Golf Adelaide: Final round video highlights

American Brendan Steele won the 2024 LIV Golf Adelaide event at The Grange Golf Club.

American golfer Brendan Steele secured victory at the LIV Golf Adelaide tournament at The Grange Golf Club, holding off a challenge from South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen to clinch the individual title by a single stroke. Steele, a three-time PGA Tour winner, carding a final round 4-under 68 to finish at 18-under-par for the tournament.

Oosthuizen, a former Open champion, mounted a charge with a 7-under 65 in the final round but fell short, settling for second place at 17-under-par.

Among the notable challengers was former world number one Jon Rahm, who surged up the leaderboard with a stellar 8-under 64. Despite Rahm’s round, he settled for a share of third place at 16-under-par alongside Charl Schwartzel, Dean Burmester, Andy Ogletree, and Joaquin Niemann.

The tournament witnessed standout performances from Australian players, with Matt Jones leading the local contingent at 14-under-par. Cameron Smith, Marc Leishman, and Lucas Herbert also put on strong showings. The Australian Ripper GC team, led by Smith, emerged victorious in a playoff against the South African-based Stingers GC.
