RETRO VIDEO / Capstan rollies cigarettes golf commercial from 1962

While not good for your health, or slow play, rollies were once considered a good choice for a round of golf.

A few weeks ago we stumbled upon an old Kit Kat TV commercial filmed on an Australian golf course (still not sure where). And while you’re still likely to see a Kit Kat commercial on TV these days, you’re probably not likely to see a commercial for this product anymore. At least not in Australia.

These two golfers laud the joy of getting stuck into a pack of Capstan rollies while out playing a round.

And just so you know, that myth that rollies are healthier that regular cigarettes just isn’t true. Both are doing your body damage.
