Rafa Nadal won tennis trophy, immediately checked how Tiger Woods was playing

Tennis legend Rafa Nadal was just one of many keen to see how Tiger Woods was going in the final round of the US PGA Championship.

Rafael Nadal played in, and won the Rogers Cup in Toronto on Sunday but in addition to beating his opponent, he was also wondering how his friend Tiger Woods was going in the final round of the US PGA Championship.

Coleman Bentley at Golf Digest picked up on this video taken after the final where you can see, and hear Nadal wondering how Woods was going in his final round.

You could be forgiven for thinking Woods won the PGA Championship but TV ratings went through the roof for the final round. There is no denying the increased interest in golf when Tiger Woods is in contention.
