Freakonomics produce some fantastic podcasts but we can’t say we were expecting one we could share about golf. But lo and behold here is a Freakonomics podcast about golf – specifically ‘Why We Choke Under Pressure’.
Stephen J. Dubner chats to a number of psychologists about why humans can crack, or as some might say choke under pressure. Dubner splices the up discussion with a few comments from Peter Alliss and Brandel Chamblee who add some detail about that Jean Van de Velde meltdown at Carnoustie in 1999.
