Kiwi marathon runner breaks record for most holes played in 12 hours
Think playing one or two rounds of golf in a day is tiring, try playing 13 rounds.
Brad Luiten’s friend passed away from bowel cancer last year and in an attempt to raise awareness for the deadly disease, the Kiwi marathon runner attempted to break the record for playing the most number of golf holes in 12 hours.
And prior to Luiten’s attempt, the record was set by Canadian Scott Holland who played 221 holes in 12 hours in 2005.
But Luiten smashed that record and set a new mark of 237 holes – equal to over 13 rounds, running over 100 kilometres in the process.
