Future Golf (formerly GenYgolf) launch with new website, new golf membership options

The golf community previously known as GenY Golf has rebranded itself as Future Golf. It now has a new logo, a new website and a bunch of new ways to be a part of it.

GenYgolf has rebranded itself at Future Golf and it’s making a huge impact in the Australian golf landscape.

The member and partner driven movement, which distances itself from ‘old school’ golf by offering rounds and events at partner courses and linking would-be golfers with a youth-driven community in the thousands, has injected more than $3 million into the sport in Australia since launching in 2014 and is now one of Australia’s largest golf communities.

“We exist because golf needs a platform that is flexible, accessible and friendly,” Future Golf Founder Ali Terai said.

“We wanted to create a golf community that was relaxed, where people didn’t feel out of place or embarrassed. Our core mission is growing the game, getting more people playing and guiding golfers from beginner to addict.”

Although there was some initial skepticism from many golf clubs that this type of golf community would lead a decline in traditional golf club memberships, it has proved otherwise.

Since launching in 2014, over 600 golfers have been introduced to traditional clubs with 350 of those golfers from Future Golf signing up as traditional golf club members in the last 18 months.

Just last week, Yarra Yarra Golf Club has come on board as Future Golf’s first prestige partner golf club.

Being a part of Future Golf can give you access to an Official Golf Australia handicap, private member events, golf trips, free rounds of golf at partner courses, swing assessments and loads of discounts.

Future Golf now caters for a range of golfers ranging from those who have never played the game before (The Starter @ $49/year) right up to The Addict ($749/year) and including a couple of other membership options in between.
