We stumbled upon this stunning drone footage of Oberon Golf Club, just west of the Blue Mountains and under three hours drive from Sydney.
As the video below outlines, Oberon golf course was designed by Al Howard who also played a role in designing Byron Bay, Tasmania, and St.Michael’s golf courses among others.
The hole-by-hole compilation is dramatically introduced and it’s worth sticking around to see some of the views of the holes that run down towards Lake Oberon.
The course looks like it could use some serious thinning out, but a fun place to play all the same. We’ve now got it on our list of “places we need to go play golf”.
