Things are getting serious. The R&A have released a Pace of Play manual.

The R&A have released a document outlining strategies to combat pace of play problems in the game of golf. The manual is available to view and download via their website and offers advice to golfers, club management and golf course ground staff on how to speed up the time it takes to play a round of golf.

Has The Golf Show on FoxSports been axed?

Australia’s one and only golf show on TV has been deleted from the TV Guide.

The future of The Golf Show on FoxSports looks uncertain with all new episodes being removed from the TV schedule. According to the FoxSports TV Guide all new episodes of Australia’s only TV golf show have been replaced with “Best of” episodes featuring previous segments, none featuring hosts Brett Ogle and Paul Gow.

2016 Genesis Golf Link Cup to launch next week

Golf Link have announced the return of one of the biggest golf competition’s in Australia with Hyundai Genesis stepping in as the naming rights partner.

The Genesis Golf Link Cup will tee off next week (Monday April 4th) giving Australian club golfers a chance to compete for one of sixteen spots in the Genesis Golf Link Cup Final to be held in November.

The Musselburgh Old Course in Scotland is one of the oldest golf courses on earth and was home to many of the Open Championships in the late 1800’s. It’s a mecca for anyone remotely interested in the history of the game and a unique golf experience.

Connor Syme and Min-ji Park win Australian Amateur Championships

A Scotsman and a Korean have won the prestigious Australian Amateur Championships played at Metropolitan Golf Club.

Scotland’s Connor Syme won the men’s trophy of the Australian Amateur Championships with a 3&2 victory over New South Welshman Travis Smyth in the 36-hole match play final. Korea’s Min-ji Park beat fellow Korean Ayean Cho 6&5 in the Women’s Australian Amateur 36-hole final played at Metropolitan Golf club in Melbourne.
