83-year-old makes her first-ever ace at Carbrook Golf Club

Just to show it’s never too late to get a hole-in-one, Carbrook Golf Club member Joyce Hill has done it at the tender age of 83-years-young.

Bubbly Carbrook Golf Club member Joyce Hill has amazed her fellow golfers after carding her first hole-in-one at the tender age of 83.

Hill struck a perfect 5-iron at the 106m par-3 7th hole last Thursday that rolled into the hole to make her day. Chuffed at finally carding an ace, Hill celebrated in style with a glass of wine after the game with her group.

Fellow members are thrilled to see Joyce achieve the feat as she is a valued club member who also makes a huge contribution to the Club’s garden maintenance and beautification.

These sorts of stories are fantastic. Golf’s great isn’t it?
