Watch this 20-year-old make eagle on 18 to win his first PGA Tour title

Matthew Wolff has joined Tiger Woods and Ben Crenshaw as the only players to win a NCAA title and a tour event in the same year.

There was one hell of a finish on the PGA Tour this morning as a young golfer, with one weird looking golf swing won his first PGA tour title just three weeks after turning pro.

To be fair this wasn’t just any 20-year-old though.

Matthew Wolff, who has previously made headlines with his unorthodox golf swing, has been tipped to have a lot of success after playing as one of the the world’s top amateurs.

Wolff had a stellar college golf career breaking the record for the lowest average score in a single college season, and culminated with the NCAA Individual Champion title just six weeks ago.

And three weeks ago Wolff turned professional and was playing the 3M Open on a sponsors exemption.

And today he did this on the final hole to win the tournament by a single shot. For some context, Bryson Dechambeau had only moment earlier made a closing eagle of his own to take the clubhouse lead by a shot.
