The Adventures in Golf series from Skratch TV makes for some fascinating viewing and this piece about a golf course set on prison grounds in Louisiana is no exception.

We’ve previously shared with you Adventures In Golf’s feature on Hole-in-One Insurance in Japan but this short documentary on prison golf in Louisiana is even more compelling viewing.

Host Erik Anders Lang does a great job of getting some of the inmates and workers at this prison to open up about the construction of Prison View Golf Course. The last few minutes delves into the reasons why prisoners are not allowed to play and says a lot about the unfortunate status of golf in US.
