WATCH Adam Scott nearly hole out on a par-4 at Australian PGA

A near albatross was just one of many highlights from Adam Scott during his impressive second round at the 2023 Australian PGA Championship.

Adam Scott remains in the hunt to claim a third Australian PGA Championship after firing an impressive 6-under 65.

The impressive second round at Royal Queensland included six birdies but it also nearly included an incredible albatross after Scott’s 3-wood drive bounced off the flagstick at the short par-4 12th hole.

Scott didn’t make the eagle putt and had to settle for a birdie but the shot still remains impressive.

Remarkably, big-hitting Elvis Smylie also did the same thing on the same hole earlier in the day. Smylie’s ball finished closer to the hole and he took full advantage by rolling in the putt for eagle.
