TEASER VIDEO Seven Mile Beach golf course is slowly taking shape

Under the Card recently shared a video of the most anticipated new golf course in Australia since Cape Wickham.

Seven Mile Beach is the passion project of Mat Goggin and his vision of the golf course, just outside of Hobart in Tasmania is quickly emerging out of the spectacular dune setting. And did you read that one hole will have two greens?

Designed and constructed by the Clayton, Devires and Pont golf architecture team, most of the greens and fairways have been sodded, and it’s beginning to look like an incredible golf course.

Contrary to what many may think, it doesn’t rain very often in Hobart. It gets cold, but not a lot of precipitation, which is just what the course needs right now. We’re told Goggin and co are hoping Seven Mile Beach will be open to play later in the year but we’ll keep you informed as we hear more.

In the meantime, check out this fabulous sneak-peak drone footage from Under The Card.
