Stillbirth Charity Golf Day to tee off at Concord Golf Club
Get involved in a great golf day for a wonderful cause; The Stillbirth Foundation.
The 2015 Stillbirth Charity Golf Day is set to tee off at the gorgeous Concord Golf Club in Sydney’s west on Thursday 25th June 2015.
The annual golf day is a fantastic event – one that Aussie Golfer has participated in several times – and through the support of players and sponsors has raised in excess of $60,000 for the Stillbirth Foundation over the years.
This year’s event moves to the wonderful Concord Golf Club in Sydney and registrations are now open to play or lend your (or your company’s) support as a sponsor for the day.
Over 2000 babies are stillborn in Australia every year and it is a truly heartbreaking experience for any parent to go through. The causes of stillbirth are unknown and in addition to funding further research, money to needed to support those who got through such a tragic situation.
We were particularly moved by the heartbreaking stories we heard from some of the people who played in last year’s golf day and we would urge anyone to come and be a part of the day in whatever form you can, be it as golfer or a sponsor of the event.
