Spectator gets lucky, cap knocked off his head by PGA Tour golfer
This could’ve been so much worse. A spectator was lucky to leave this tournament without a serious injury after a PGA Tour golfer nearly clocked him with a golf club.
Canada’s Nick Taylor found his golf ball by a tree during last week’s Genesis Invitational at The Riviera Country Club.
Surrounded by spectators, Taylor managed to make a great swing but his follow-through hit the tree – and knocked off a spectator’s cap in the process.
Check out the guy peering from behind the tree just in front of Taylor. It could have been so much worse and he’s very lucky the club didn’t make proper contact with his head.
Hats off to him.
