Rory McIlroy makes 55 consecutive putts: video
On the practice green before the final round of the TOUR Championship, Rory McIlroy was making putts. A lot of them.
Prior to the final round of the TOUR Championship, Rory McIlroy was practising on the putting green and he made 55 putts in a row from 10 feet.
There is some string evidence to suggest that this sort of non-random practice is not ideal and I’m not sure how beneficial something like this routine for any golfer – let alone the world’s number one golfer.
Still, it’s quite a feat. And most likely after Rory made 20 or so, he decided just to keep going to see how many he could make. Impressive all the same.

Agreed K. It’s a great feat but not so sure it helps him a lot…
It’s definitely an amazing feat. Just not as amazing as the commentators were making out. I really should try it one day. I’d be happy with anything over 10.
