Rory McIlroy and his too ridiculous to be true trick shot

From the department of “blatant advertising”, Skins have released a video of Rory McIlroy performing a trick shot at The Belfry.

We’ve seen these kind of trick shots before in the name of advertising. Our own Grant Dodd was part of a comical (but unbelievable) trick shot last year but I still prefer the ‘real trick shots’ offered up to us by the European Tour’s own golfers as part of their “Every Shot Imaginable” campaign. (Try the clay pigeon golf shot, gunpowder golf shot or the golf shot across water).

This one by Rory McIlroy is ridiculous and I post it reluctantly.
