Norman hints at return as Presidents Cup captain
Greg Norman has made what sounded a lot like a pitch to being re-appointed Presidents Cup captain.
In the first public comments about the matter, Greg Norman has hinted he would like to be re-appointed as the captain of the International Team for the 2013 Presidents Cup to be held at Harding Park in San Francisco.
Reportedly, Ernie Els gave him the thumbs up on the Sunday following the loss in Melbourne in November last year, and it sounds a lot like Norman is hoping to be back in charge of the team in 2013.
“If I was asked to do it again, I would sit down and I’d think about it, because there’s a two-year commitment.” Norman said. “The inevitable answer to that question would be leaning more to the positive side than the negative side.”
