TOUGH WATCH / Sergio Garcia hits five in the water at The Masters
Sergio Garcia sent five golf balls into the water at the 15th at Augusta National to see any hope of defending his green jacket disappear.
It all went a little bit “Tin Cup” for Sergio Garcia during his opening round of the 2018 Masters Tournament.
Arriving at the par-5 15th hole at 1-over the card, Garcia sent his second shot into the water. Dropping back for a full wedge into the green, Garcia then sucked four more back into the water hazard.
It does verge a little on unfair to have the ball roll back into the water that far but it’s not like this is anything new at the 15th hole. And it’s not like Sergio hasn’t played it under these conditions before.
