Lightning strike leaves its mark on green at Narooma Golf Club
This is what it looks like after lightning hits a green on a golf course.
The golf course can be a dangerous place to be during a thunderstorm. Walking around in the open ground wielding metal sticks is a recipe for disaster.
A lightning strike left its mark on the second green at Narooma Golf Club following thunderstorms on Wednesday, and this image (we’ve edited it a little) was posted on their Facebook page.
No one was on course during the storms thankfully but it’s a nice reminder to keep well away from the golf course if there is any chance of thunderstorms in the vicinity.
