Jason Day wins for first time on PGA Tour in five years: video highlights
A blistering, bogey-free final round of 9-under 62 has seen Jason Day win for the first time in five years.
Seven golfers held the lead at different stages of the final round of the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson but in the end, it was Australia’s Jason Day who claimed victory after a final round 9-under 62.
The win was Day’s first on the PGA Tour in five years and caps off a fantastic return to form after battling injury for the past few years.
A clutch approach shot on the final hole set up a tap-in birdie which gave him a one-stroke advantage over Siwoo Kim and the clubhouse lead. When American Austin Eckroat, playing two groups behind failed to eagle the last hole, Day could claim victory.
