Hannah Green claims third LPGA victory with a win in Hollywood: video highlights

Australia’s Hannah Green rolled in a clutch 25-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole of the JM Eagle LA Championship to join a three-way playoff at the Wilshire Country Club.

A par was enough to claim victory at the second extra hole outlasting India’s Aditi Ashok and China’s Xiyu Lin.

After missing the cut at last week’s event Green was emotional after the win saying it was just as important to win as her previous two LPGA victories, the Women’s PGA Championship and the Portland Classic in 2019.

“I think honestly this one is really important because I feel like this is just going to kick start remembering how to — like learning to win,” Green said after the playoff.

“It’s tough to win golf tournaments. Sometimes you can play your best golf and it not be good enough. You’ve just got to hang in there. I think this is honestly just as big as the first two.”
