Golfers fire up the engines ahead of BMW NZ Open: video

Steve Williams represented the golfers in a challenge on four wheels this week.

The BMW New Zealand Open tees off this week and the fabulous Millbrook Resort in Queenstown.

Not surprisingly, the pre-tournament festivities are going a little extreme. Mike Hendry, Brad Kennedy and Steve Williams (?!) represented Team Golf that took on Team Rugby and Team Cricket in a battle of the wheels at a circuit just out of Queenstown.

Points were awarded for the fastest drives with penalties in place for driving mis-haps. I still don’t understand why they couldn’t run during the driver change over?
