Golfer fails to bounce his ball off the wall at St.Andrews’ Road Hole

We’ve seen a number of Road hole fails off the tee but this golfer had a few issues near the wall.

Amateur golfers and weekend hackers often make for amusing test subjects at the famous 17th road hole at The Old Course at St.Andrews.

We’re not sure if he was deliberately trying to emulate Miguel Angel Jimenez’s magnificent golf shot (see below) or if he found himself there by chance. Either way, the subsequent attempts to ricochet his ball off the wall didn’t go exactly as planned.
