About six months ago, Under The Card posted a teaser video of some drone footage over Royal Melbourne. Last week the big box office release dropped – a sweet 15-minute video of every hole at Royal Melbourne.

Several things struck me about these shots, but perhaps the most interesting was how benign and serene the course looks from the air. For example, knocking it well left of the flagstick on the 7th seems like a simple task. Which many of us, and many of the world’s best golfers know, is far from simple.
