Check out this photo of Gary Player standing next to Yao Ming
At first sight, this looks photoshopped. But it’s not. It’s a photo of Gary Player standing next to former NBA player Yao Ming at a recent Celebrity Pro-Am event at Mission Hills in China.
This almost looks like one of those photos you take on holiday alongside some giant monument. Was Player standing a long way away perhaps? 🙂

This was some Pro-Am event.
LPGA player Natalie Gulbis was also there and posted this video of Yao Ming’s golf swing to her Instagram feed. We’re guessing those are driver length shafts in Ming’s irons.
And there were plenty of other famous golfers and celebrities there too. Some doing some odd things.
Like John Daly kicking a soccer ball:
And then hitting a soccer bal with a golf club, with Robbie Fowler looking on.
Daly played along side Fowler and former NBA star Allen Iverson who looked like he played the event in a sarong.
Then there was Mark O’Meara and Boris Becker shooting hoops…
And of course Michael Douglas was there, who also kicked a few soccer balls around before his round.
