Dustin Johnson’s final round 4-under 68 meant he’d claimed his first-ever green jacket by a whopping five strokes, and breaking the all-time 72-hole tournament record in the process.

After a shaky start that included two consecutive bogeys that saw Sungjae Im and Cameron Smith close to within two shots, Dustin Johnson steadied his round and cruised to a five-stroke victory at the 2020 Masters.

2020 MASTERS Our favourite photos from the patron-free practice days

It’s almost redundant to say that the 2020 Masters will be a little different.

The rescheduled November event means we will be seeing more fall autumn hues at Augusta National and less spring colours. More maple leaves, fewer azaleas.

The fan-free Masters means there aren’t any grandstands about the course, no patrons lining the fairways and there certainly won’t be any roars echoing through the pines.

Five Australian golfers will tee off in this week’s 2020 Masters Tournament that begins on Thursday.

2013 Masters champion Adam Scott will be joined by Marc Leishman, amateur Lukas Michel, Cameron Smith and Jason Day in the rescheduled November Masters.
