2020 MASTERS Dustin Johnson winning press conference
Dustin Johnson smashed the 72-hole record for the best score at a Masters Tournament to cruise to a 5-stroke victory over Cameron Smith and Sungjae Im.
In five previous attempts, Johnson had never gone on to win a major after leading or in a tie for the lead going into the final round.
However, after a few anxious early holes in his fourth round, Johnson took complete control of the tournament after three consecutive birdies on the back nine.
Johnson finished the tournament at 20-under par, eclipsing the previous four-round total at The Masters by two strokes, previously held by Tiger Woods (1997) and Jordan Spieth (2015).
After choking up during a short interview on the 18th green, Johnson chatted to the press in attendance at Augusta.
