GOLF TIP The lob shot with a square club face

Here is an interesting golf tip from Manly Golf Club’s Director of Golf, Philip Baird addressing the lob shot.

Baird offers a different take on the usual open face lob shot and instead suggests trying to play a similar trajectory shot with the hands behind the ball and the club face square at impact.

Like all shots, this may take some practice but he makes it looks easy and could be more beneficial for the club golfer.
