Rockingham residents have scored a hole-in-one as Australia’s biggest indoor golf brand, X-Golf, prepares to open its doors in the heart of the city next month.

X-Golf’s second dual-brand location to open in Western Australia since 2021, golfing enthusiasts will be able to test their skills at the six-simulator indoor venue or putt for fun at the brand’s unique 18-hole mini golf experience, Hey Caddy.
Located at Rockingham Centre along Syren Street, X-Golf Rockingham is the brand’s fourth location in Western Australia and will open to the public on Friday, 8 December.
General Manager Alex Makkreel said that of the 21 locations Australia wide, X-Golf and Hey Caddy patrons in the west have showed particularly incredible support and are very engaged in leagues, lessons and with the brand overall.
“We’ve seen an outstanding uptake from customers in WA and we’re absolutely thrilled to be launching yet another X-Golf location in Rockingham and bringing something really unique to this fantastic community,” Mr Makkreel said.
“The recently opened X-Golf Bunbury has been tremendously well received and we’ve also seen our latest X-League National Champions come out of Balcatta,” he said.
“With three venues opening in WA this year, golf fans over here aren’t showing any signs of slowing down.”
Rockingham’s only one-stop-shop for indoor golfing, X-Golf gives locals access to the world’s best virtual courses and driving ranges where players of all levels can enjoy a hit.
Under the same roof yet a little more light-hearted is Hey Caddy, an 18-hole immersive putt-putt experience where each green boasts unique destination-inspired themes.
Whether you want to dive deep into the boroughs of Melbourne’s Hosier Lane, putt over the bumpy surfaces of Mars, test your skills swinging between the cacti of Coachella, challenge yourself atop China’s lengthy Great Wall, or get freaky amongst the scenery of Mexico’s Day of the Dead, Hey Caddy is guaranteed to be a memorable day out for the whole family.
In hallmark X-Golf style, the new venue will also include two fully licensed bars, extensive food options, darts lanes, an outdoor beer garden, party rooms, big screen TVs broadcasting the latest sporting action, plus more, making this unlike anything within Rockingham’s existing entertainment offerings.
“We’re all about creating a fun and inclusive experience here at X-Golf and Rockingham will be no exception,” Mr Makkreel said.
“Our team has planned an epic venue which will be suited to a wide array of guests whether you’re clever with a club not.”
X-Golf Rockingham will proudly employ over 20 local staff members and will be open seven days a week.
