WATCH golf fans sledge Patrick Reed as opening drive finishes in a bunker
There was no way Patrick Reed was going to get off lightly in front of the Australian crowd on the opening day of the Presidents Cup in Melbourne.
Golf fans are clearly still unhappy with Patrick Reed after being handed a two-stroke penalty for improving his lie in a bunker at the Hero World Challenge last week.
Reed arrived at the first tee at the Royal Melbourne composite course to a chorus of boos from the crowd.
But they quickly turned to cheers as Reed’s opening drive bounced hard on the fairway and finished in a bunker.
