Wanna play golf in North Korea?
Ever wanted to play golf in North Korea?
The inaugural North Korean Amateur Golf Open has been announced and is open to anyone with a handicap! The tournament will take place between 26th-30th April 2011.
The entry fee of €999 (£849) will get you visas, entry to the tournament, return train travel from China into North Korea, all meals, four nights 5 star hotel accommodation and a 3 day tour of the country.
Not surprisingly the event is being held at Pyongyang Golf complex – North Korea’s only golf course. The same one where Kim Jong Il shot a world record 38 under par on his first ever round of golf. The round included 11 hole-in-ones!
Ok. I have my doubts but the tournament appears legitimate anyway.
