Volcano ash covers golf course
This photo is too awesome not to share.
It is taken at the 9th green of the Llao Llao Hotel and Golf Resort in Bariloche, Chile. The green is covered in ash from the Puyehue volcano in Argentina which began erupting on June 4, 2011, and this photo was taken the day after.
The eruption was the same one which caused all the air traffic chaos in Australia about a week later.
The photograph was taken by Francisco Ramos Mejia and courtesy of AFP/Getty Images. To view a large version of the photo, head over to Golf Digest.
