Tiger Woods withdraws with back injury again: video
Woods’ return to professional golf has been short-lived and looks doubtful to play this week’s US PGA Championship.
The return of Tiger Woods to professional golf hasn’t lasted long with the former world number one withdrawing from the final round of the WGC Bridgestone Invitational today with a back injury.
Woods’ troublesome back flared up once again after falling back into a bunker. Woods attempted to play through the pain but after a tee shot a few holes later, Woods withdrew and is in serious doubt to play the last major of the year this week – the US PGA Championship at Valhalla.
Woods looked in a lot of pain and did well to answer a few questions in the car park on his way out of the golf course.
