American Kevin Kisner leads the way at 5-under par after the opening round of the 2018 Open Championship at Carnoustie.

Kisner’s round of four birdies, a bogey and an eagle was posted early in the day before most of the field had yet to tee off. South Africa’s Erik Van Rooyen, Zander Lombard and American Tony Finau sit a shot behind Kisner at 4-under par.

Adam Scott, Cameron Davis and Jason Day are the best of the Aussies at even par.
