Rory McIlroy and the soccer goal crossbar challenge: video
Ever tried hitting a crossbar with a golf shot? Nope, me neither.
We’re increasingly seeing odd golf challenges in the name of marketing something or other, and this time around it’s Rory McIlroy promoting the latest EA Sports golf game.
McIlroy was set the task of hitting the crossbar of a soccer goal to promote Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13. By the looks of it, the shot was around 100 metres and not surprisingly it took him a while to get right. But like most things Rory attempts, he was ultimately successful. Check out the video below.
