Michelle Wie has won her first major golf championship by winning the 2014 US Women’s Open by two shots from fellow American, Stacy Lewis.
Michelle Wie has always been considered one of golf’s next big thing. In 2004, Wie made world headlines when she accepted an invitation to becomes the youngest, and just the fourth female golfer to play on the PGA Tour.
But despite three LPGA Tour wins, Wie’s talent was always going to be considered unfulfilled unless she won a major.
Today she did. And she did so with that crazy putting style and snake-oil, kinesio muscle tape on her legs.
