Lydia Ko’s golf swing analysed in slow motion: videos
The world’s number one women’s golfer is in Adelaide this week for the 2016 ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open, so we thought it was an opportune time to check out the 18-year-old’s golf swing.
As Judy Rankin points out in the video below from early last year, she “stays in the shot so long”, meaning her head stays down for a long time after she has hit the golf ball while her shoulders and hips rotate through the ball.
As one of the most accurate, methodical golfers on the planet, you could do a lot worse that replicate this golf swing. It’s a thing of beauty.
