I’ve often walked off the golf course and felt like I’ve aged a few months but luckily this latest study form the Karolinska Medical Institute in Sweden has found that playing golf corresponds to a 5 year increase in life expectancy! I’m very skeptical I must say but it basically comes down to being active and outside. I’m guessing if they did a similar study on lawn bowls participants, they’d probably also come up with some increase in life expectancy. Have a read for yourself here.
