“I wanted to spank him”: Koepka beats DeChambeau in The Match

The Match between Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau didn’t quite live up to the hype.

There has been a somewhat childish feud going on between Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau this year and in the name of charity, the two of them went head-to-head in another version of The Match, a made-for-tv event in the name of charity.

But the event didn’t quite live up to the hype with the 12-hole match finishing three holes early with Koepka winning 4&3, DeChambeau failing to win a hole.

“It was fun to come out here and settle this,” said Koepka afterwards. “I’m not going to lie. I just wanted to spank him.”

If you missed it, The Bleacher Report probably had the best highlights that did seem to entertain with Phil Mickelson and Charles Barkley in the commentary box.

The PGA Tour pieced together something a little shorter below.
