Kingston Heath name new short course The Furrows
Kingston Heath is about to get a brand new short course on a piece of land that was once market gardens.
And it’s the irrigation of these market gardens that have influenced the name of the new short course.
Mike Cocking narrates this wonderful short video produced by the team at Under The Card.
It’s a great watch on the history of Kingston Heath, which succinctly includes the work of Alister MacKenzie, the usage of the land prior to the golf course, and its role in the naming of the new short course that opens in April; The Furrows.
