Justin Rose and one of the greatest missed putts of all time: video
Everyone is talking about Justin Rose and his extraordinary long putt at the final hole in Dubai.
Rory McIlroy has won the European Tour’s season ending event in Dubai by finishing with birdies on the final five holes to beat Justin Rose by two shots.
McIlroy was also rewarded for his stellar year by winning the overall Race to Dubai trophy but Rose’s remarkable putt on the final hole has almost overshadowed the final result.
It must surely rank as one of the most applauded misses in the history of golf.

One of the best missed putts I have ever seen.
He and Adam Scott will be the men to beat at the Australian Open.
Very dramatic indeed… If it goes in… One of the greatest 72nd hole putts of all time… Yet David Hearn in 2004 PGA Tour Q School final stage was one of the greatest putts under the circumstances… Of course hard to beat Rocca at St.Andrews in 1995… Gotta love golf!
