John Daly does Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door
The guy that ran out of balls has taken up the guitar.
John Daly left Australia in a huff. He knocked all his balls in the lake during The Australian Open and headed for South-East Asia. He played in last week’s Thailand Open and finished a respectable 16th after placing for second for much of the tournament.
Daly was never going to catch the red-hot Lee Westwood won by seven shots from Charl Schwartzel. So rather than take the limelight on the course, he took the limelight off the course when he took out his guitar to do a version of one of the most covered songs in history, Kockin’ On Heaven’s Door.
He’s American too, in case you were wondering.

Besides my strong interest in golf, I also know about music. I’ve heard this song performed by Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton, and I was ironically smiling before I hit Play button. But it turned to be really not bad for a non-professional singer !
